AAA studio are looking for an experienced Animation Outsource Manager who is able to produce outstanding titles on current consoles platform.  All areas of Gameplay and Cinematic Animation are to be managed and outsourced by this exceptional candidate.  This role would suit an animator with lead experience.

Key Duties:

• Be the main contact and oversee of the relationship with our external partners

• Maintain and develop long-term workflows allowing for efficient, flexible and on time delivery of high numbers of high-quality assets

• Liaison with internal team to create high quality template documents for outsourcing

• Work alongside outsource partners/production to establish a schedule and keep to tight deadlines

• Setup internal team reviews and support the distribution of feedback to outsource partners keeping to the specific sign off processes

• Work proactively to manage the logistical side of complex projects with multiple dependencies

• Maintain healthy relationships with outsourcing partners working efficiently and keeping a high aesthetic standard

• Working closely with the Senior Producers and Studio Management keeping track of quality, time and cost

• Be able to identify risks to both the project and outsource pipeline and ensure that all security measures are in place

• Work with the Animation Leads and Directors and keep the final product fitting to the quality briefs that they create

Technical Requirements 

• Good understanding of in-game animation pipelines

• Experience in using Shotgun (Asset Management software)

• Knowledge of 3DSMax and/or Maya is advantageous

• Understanding of Motion Builder is desirable

• Engine experience in Unreal or similar is advantageous

• An understanding of the Motion Capture process is desirable
