Our client is a leading AAA games studio, well established with 2 hit series of games titles in Production. We are looking for innovative marketers who possess that same passion and dedication to define the product marketing strategies for our short-term and long-term projects, to work with our development studios and external partners, and to be the creative spark to inspire our internal teams and generate the maximum chance for success across our product portfolio.

Whilst previous experience within the games industry is preferable, it is not essential. Of greater importance is that you possess the ability to translate and communicate the passion and excitement we feel for our games to the players and partners that will be awaiting our new games.

Key Duties:

General overview of the role:

•   Evangelise and represent the product(s) and brand(s) to both internal stakeholders via product presentations, territory tours, media events, retail presentations, consumer events and more
•   Engage the development studios in the marketing process to ensure alignment and engagement with strategic and creative direction
•   Use market data and consumer research to identify trade and consumer trends to help the studios to iterate on new ideas
•   Create and own the Product Marketing Plan, which includes product positioning, target market identification and analysis, category &competitive analysis, pricing analysis, marketing strategy, creative development and through the line marketing execution
•   Work with appropriate internal and external teams to develop all marketing materials and strategies including PR, community,advertising, packaging, online, retail and promotional materials
•   Ownership of product from concept to launch, and into post-launch phase via additional content and lifecycle management
•   Where appropriate, manage external agency partners to deliver world-class campaign materials on budget, on time and on strategy
•   Drive the development of key assets including screenshots,game footage, website, visual renders and video materials
•   Ownership of global asset calendar to meet global marketing and PR milestones. Oversee the timely distribution of these assets to distribution partners and agencies
•   Manage the preparation and onsite support for sales meetings, trade shows, press events and consumer launch events
•   Ownership and management of central marketing budget including assert, packaging, website and advertising production and research budgets
•   Develop and manage research plan, including focus groups,surveys and post-analysis information sharing

Required Skills/Attributes:

•   At least 2 years experience of leading end-to-end marketing campaigns
•   Fully understand the end-to-end process of defining global marketing and communications strategy for digital and physical products
•   Clear understanding of all marketing communications tools across the full marketing mix (including advertising advertising, PR, CRM,retails, promotions and sales)
•   Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis to projects
•   Ability to plan and execute product launch strategy
•   Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills
•   Great attention to detail and ownership of projects
•   Capable of dealing at multiple levels across the business
•   Demonstrable creative and strategic thinking
•   Self-motivated individual
•   Adaptability and strong organisation skills
•   Willingness to travel on company business
